Jacaranda 'Bonsai Blue'

Jacaranda trees are usually seen in tropical or exotic locations, but now you can see one flowering right in your very own garden, here in the UK! Bred in Japan, this dwarf version of what would usually grow to 15m or more in height, will grow to just 70cm (28?), reaching it?s peak at about 1.5m (5?) tall. ?Bonsai Blue? is truly stunning, with it?s clouds of blue-purple blooms that look not too dissimilar to bluebells, hanging delicately amongst it?s fern-like foliage ideally in patio pots or containers as a centrepiece or alongside other exotic companions. This tender tree can withstand temperatures down to -2C (28F), but is best suited to grow in a pot or container where it can be transported inside to a warm greenhouse, or conservatory space during the cold winter. Right before making a triumphant return in spring. Height: 150cm (5?). Spread: 60cm (24).
