Achillea 'Terracotta' is a sturdy perennial that is perfect for planting in sunny cottage garden borders and wildlife gardens, where its nectar-rich flowers will entice pollinating insects. Yarrow is also a delightful cut flower, both fresh and dried. It is hardy and dependable in gentle sandy soils, and it even flourishes in challenging coastal conditions. When planted in large swaths among swaying grasses, this is an excellent plant for prairie style borders. Between June and August, the fragrant, ferny foliage is topped with flat, terracotta flower heads that gradually mature to a biscuit-yellow colour. Height: 80cm (32). Spread: 60cm (24).
