Who needs flowers when you have foliage as beautiful as flowers? In the spring, narrowly pointed, glossy crimson leaves appear before developing into a dark green colour. Throughout the summer, the leathery leaves make a stunning backdrop for other shrubs and perennials, until they turn a brilliant scarlet colour in the autumn.
