Magnolia 'Aphrodite'

145

Nothing can compare to the incredible spring display a magnolia creates when in full bloom! If you have an exposed garden or live in a northerly location, you have probably been unable to grow one yourself. Magnolia ?Aphrodite? is a great solution to this! Blooming later than other magnolias means the buds are less susceptible to frost damage. Producing a compact, vase-like tree that is ideal for small growing spaces, its bear stems are decorated with plump buds that open into dark pink goblet-like blooms in April and May. Height: 4m (13ft). Spread: 3m (10ft).
