A unique variety of hydrangea that will provide an even more dramatic display than the ordinary type, boasting vibrant coloured blooms set against a backdrop of striking deep purple foliage. Hydrangea serrata ?Daredevil? produces an abundance of flat, lacecap blooms with beautiful rose-pink florets from mid summer to autumn. The serrated-edged leaves are bronze-green when they emerge and transform to deep purple, almost black, as they age, creating a striking contrast against the vivid blooms. In autumn, the dark leaves take on flame red tones. Hydrangea serrata ?Daredevil? makes a superb choice for woodland gardens and mixed borders.
