The Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit winner, Apple Worcester Pearmain, is an early-season desert variety with a sweet flavour. It is ideal for eating fresh from the tree, but it is also a good variety for stewing. Crops can be harvested beginning in mid-September and stored until the end of October.
