Clematis 'Daniel Deronda' is a hardy variety that has earned an RHS AGM for its outstanding garden behaviour. It is indeed a beautiful option for a sunny wall or trellis. It is a large-flowered variety with splendid semi-double violet flowers with contrasting buttery white anthers in early summer. It also generates single flowers at the end of summer, accompanied by appealing, snuggly round seed heads. Height: 3.5m (11'). Spread: 1m (3'). Pruning group: 2.
