Axgard Amber Clear Where a high degree of strength is required to defend against impact and provide a safe glazing solution in place of glass, clear sheet materials are specified. The Clear Axgard substance is made of a polymer resin that is 200 times stronger than glass of the same thickness and hence classified as almost unbreakable. Unlike many other plastic glazing choices, Axgard sheets have an extra layer that protects the material from UV damage. Axgard Clear is available in a wide range of thicknesses, from 2000mm to 12000mm, and has the most standard sheet sizes of any product type on the market.
