Description OSB 3 is made with adhesives from compressed layers of wood strands (wax and synthetic resin). OSB has been around since 1963 and, unlike similar goods, each layer's strips of wood are intentionally positioned rather than randomly to provide it strength, and it can contain up to 50 layers of wood in total. The wood is made from small, fast-growing trees like aspen poplar and southern yellow pine, and it's exceptionally strong.
