Commonly known as the Normann Fir, as seen in living rooms and houses all over the world at Christmas time! Abies nordmanniana produces large conical foliage with long-lasting, wonderfully scented needles. Despite being known as the Christmas Tree, this evergreen, dark green coloured tree can be planted and featured as a wonderful specimen tree in larger gardens where it will grow up to 30m unrestricted. Makes for a brilliant hedging or screening option as its branches sweep downwards covering a large spread of up to 8m. Ultimate height: Up to 30m (98?). Spread: 8m (26?)
