The PS500 brass chrome-plated ball valve by Pegler Yorkshire is perfect for water applications and WRAS approved. It features a full bore lever and Xpress ends suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, or copper tubes. The 1/4 inch to 2-inch body and end piece are made of chrome-plated forged brass. The 2 1/2 inch to 4-inch versions use chrome-plated gravity die cast brass. Smaller valves (1/4 inch to 1/2 inch) have a chrome-plated brass bar ball, while larger sizes (3/4 inch to 2 inch) feature chrome-plated forged brass balls. The durable construction also includes a brass washer, external stem, and sleeve. It has a steel fixing screw, EPDM end connection O-ring, and nickel-plated brass security screws. Completing the design are an aluminium painted tee handle, zinc-plated steel self-locking nut, high-temperature PVC insulated zinc-plated steel lever handle, Viton stem O-ring, and PTFE thrust washer and seats..
