Exceptionally pretty, dark pink blossom makes this variety stand out in Spring. Apple ?Scotch Dumpling? is an early cooking apple, ripening by mid-august. The large fruits have a sharp flavour, cooking down to a frothy puree which makes fabulous apple sauce! Surplus fruits will store for a few weeks but are best used fresh from the tree.
