Exochorda x macrantha 'Niagara' boasts masses of sparkling white flowers in April and May without the awkward straggly growth of some other cultivars. A cross between the popular E x macrantha 'The Bride' and E. racemosa, ‘Niagara’ is distinguished by its upright, compact and rounded habit, making it especially suited to smaller borders or large patio pots. Its early blossom is a highlight of the spring garden and makes an excellent partner when underplanted with spring bulbs. Once established, it is drought-tolerant but thrives best in rich soil. Height & Spread: 1.5m (5').
