Corylopsis pauciflora has a slow-growing habit, but when it is in full bloom, showcasing its scented, stunning bell-like yellow flowers in the middle of spring, it?s a truly wonderful sight. The primrose yellow blooms hang and droop in racemes of 2 to 5 flowers, intricately detailed inbetween red, ovate foliage in its young life. In maturity the leaves turn to vibrant green with unique and deep veining, once again turning to a shade of banana yellow when autumn comes around.
