Acuvue 2 from Johnson & Johnson are one of the most popular contact lenses. These two-week disposable daily contact lenses are lightly tinted blue so they can be inserted with no problems every time – it’s as easy as 1–2–3! The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea from the dangerous ultraviolet radiation. However, lenses do not cover the entire eye or eye area, so the combination of contact lenses that have UV filter and sunglasses is the ideal protection against harmful UV rays. Acuvue 2 contact lenses have been discontinued. The only versions available are the ones currently in stock. Users of Acuvue 2 contacts can start using the new Lenjoy Bi-weekly Aqua+ lenses.
